Sidecar, a new lounge in the style of a speakeasy, will open at Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport’s Harry Reid International Airport by 2026. The lounge will serve curated snacks and drinks to short-stay travelers.

Flying through the airport Las Vegas will soon have a stylish new spot to unwind, as American Express plans to open Sidecar—a speakeasy-style lounge at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS)—in 2026. American Express, the only credit card company with two lounges located at LAS, will open Sidecar in 2026.
Hendley, in a statement, said that “many of our visitors only spend less than an hr in our lounges. So we created Sidecar especially for them.” The first Centurion Lounge was opened in Las Vegas back in 2013, and it is fitting that we launch this new lounge at LAS, as we continue to innovate in order to meet Card Members’ needs.
Card members already enjoying access to Centurion Lounges can access Sidecar for free. They will have 90 minutes to use Sidecar before their flight departs.
American Express has also announced that they are partnering with Resy chefs Mashama Bailey, Sarah Grueneberg Kwame onwuachi and Mike Solomonov who have won James Beard Awards, along with renowned Bar Director Harrison Ginsberg to form The Culinary Collective of The Centurion Lounge. The group will create a menu featuring dishes and cocktails inspired by the renowned restaurants of the collective. These new menu items will become available in all 15 Centurion Lounges across the U.S. on July 29.
Some recipes will be offered at the new intimate airport lounge, Sidecar by Centurion Lounge at LAS. Members of the Centurion Lounge who are eligible for the card will be able grab a quick snack or drink in this speakeasy-style area. The menu includes gourmet small dishes and signature drinks, curated exclusively by The Culinary Collective.
We know that Card Members enjoy the food and beverages at Centurion Lounges, and we are excited to see what new things they will offer. Audrey Hendley said, “With the help of our Resy chefs, we have brought together some of the best culinary minds from across the country to create amazing menus that are available in one location for the very first time,” in a T+L statement. It would be difficult to visit all of their restaurants, but Centurion Lounges visitors will have the opportunity to taste dishes from these chefs.
The Culinary Collective menus at The Centurion Lounge include seasonal dishes, as well as dishes inspired by local cuisine. Specific dishes may vary from one lounge to another.
“The Culinary Collective of The Centurion Lounge works extremely well and is inspiring because all the chefs and American Express have the same ethos.” We care about food, innovation and diverse flavors—key elements of this collaboration,” Mike Solomonov, one of the chefs in the collective, said in a statement.
The Centurion Lounge, part of the American Express Global Lounge Collection which offers complimentary access to over 1,550 lounges located in 140 different countries, is American Express’ signature lounge program.
