Novotel Geelong proudly announces Larelle Fitt’s appointment as its new Director for Sales. Larelle has over 25 years experience in tourism, hospitality, events, and other sectors.
Larelle has been a long-time supporter of the visitor economy in the region. She is known for her unwavering commitment to creating strong tourism experiences that are connected with communities. She began her career on the Great Ocean Road where she operated a motel and led the Apollo Bay Music Festival to greater financial sustainability and social impact.
She has held leadership positions in several 4- and 5-star hotels, including Novotel Geelong. Mantra Lorne. Novotel Barossa valley Resort. Sheraton Melbourne. and Novotel Melbourne. Most recently, she held the role of Group Head of Conferencing & Events at The Sharp Group, where she led a dynamic portfolio of high-performing event operations.
Larelle is a Certified Company Director through the Institute of Community Directors Australia and currently serves as Deputy Chair and Business Events Skills-Based Board Member at Tourism Greater Geelong & The Bellarine, experience that will be invaluable in her role at Novotel Geelong.
