The resort features The Backyard Pool & Social Club, with two pools and a host of activities led by an in-house concierge. The Blue Flamingo Resort belongs to BRE Hotels. It is managed by Highgate Hotels. The resort combines two Key West motor lodges, combining the charm and energy of Old Town and the modernity and energy of New Town.
The lobby is filled with eclectic furnishings, vibrant colors and a playful, fun atmosphere. The resort has 245 beautifully designed accommodations that are inspired by sand dunes. The guest room layouts range from Deluxe Queen and King to spacious Junior Suite and Suite, and surround The Backyard Pool & Social Club – the center of activity and energy.
The Backyard Pool & Social Club at Blue Flamingo features two pools, cabanas and lounge chairs, poolside dining, and tiki bar concepts Rum Row and Toasted Coconut. The Backyard Pool & Social Club at Blue Flamingo will feature outdoor lawn games, fire pits and intimate seating areas.
The resort will also feature daily happy hours, island music nights, movies under the stars, rum & reggae nights, and parties. Partnerships with La Fete du Rosé and Phat Buddha will add to the festivities with rosé and frozé parties, weekly wellness programming, starlit yoga classes, sound healing classes, wellness fairs, and more.
The resort’s location is perfect for couples, bachelorette parties, family and group retreats. The event space will feature a vinyl player, pool table and colorful murals. This is a great place to host social events and celebrations.
Dining options include Rum Row & Toasted Coconut, which features local flavors and island-inspired cuisine. The bars feature a variety of tiki cocktail options and a menu featuring Coconut Shrimps Sandwiches, Burgers, Poke Bowls and Big Fish.
The resort is located near the Key West International Airport, as well as popular attractions in the area such Duval Street. Blue Flamingo Resort rooms will be offered at a special rate for summer, starting at $159 a night.
