Karen Hardie has been named general manager for Canada by Virtuoso. The leading global network that specialises in luxury and experience travel. Hardie, a 20-year industry veteran with leadership experience in luxury travel around the world, joins Virtuoso. Una O’Leary is the former GM for Canada and now she takes on her new role of vice president Global Partnerships.
Hardie, who was named one of Canada’s most powerful women (WXN 2016,) has a track record for success, including growing B2B revenue, enhancing partner engagement, and leading high-performing multi-market teams in Canada, Australia, and Europe. Hardie was most recently vice president of global sales at Rocky Mountaineer. Prior to this, she served as director of global sales operations, as well as director for sales in the U.S.A. and Mexico. She has also held executive positions with Jetset Travelworld Group, Orion Expedition Cruises North America and Australia.
Hardie will be responsible for the development of regional business strategies across Canada, including growth and engagement with members and partners. She will be based at Vancouver, Canada, and join on June 16, 2025. She reports to Londregan.
