Roseate Hotels and Resorts has been steadily expanding their portfolio. They aim to open 2 to 3 hotels a year. The company insists that despite its growth, it does not compete with other hospitality brands.
Kush Kapoor said to Skift that “we are not in any race”. “We don’t try to copy the big brand hotels who sign many hotels. We plan to open two or three new hotels each year. They will all be unique.
Roseate operates eight hotels and has one in construction. It aims to have a global portfolio of 25 hotels by 2030.
The brand is based on an ownership model. There are five hotels in India and the UK, while a fourth hotel in Delhi-National Capital Region is currently under construction. Kapoor stated that “our first focus will be owned hotels. We either purchase hotels that are in line with our portfolio, or build our own.”
He stressed the importance of scale and location over individuality. “It must be a smaller hotel so that we can spend time with guests instead of getting lost in large weddings or conferences,” said he.
