IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, has announced the signing of EVEN Hotel Dammam, bringing its lifestyle wellness-focused brand to the Middle East for the first time. The agreement was signed in Riyadh, on the sidelines Future Hospitality Summit.
EVEN Hotels, as the only brand of its kind in the Middle East, will redefine the meaning of “traveling well”. The brand’s approach to wellness is based on in-depth research of the Middle East market and adapts to the way today’s travellers integrate well-being in their lifestyle. Whether guests want to energise, unwind, or reset, EVEN Hotels will offer the freedom to do it their way—from in-room wellness zones and craveable food and drink, to state-of-the-art fitness, recreation, and vibrant social spaces.
Designed for travellers who want to live a full and rewarding life, even when on the move, EVEN Hotel Dammam will be the “third space” —a lifestyle destination featuring harmonious blend of adaptive spaces that evolve with guests’ needs, seamlessly balancing productivity, relaxation, and connection. Each room will feature a signature wellness zone—offering a choice between in-room fitness gear or calming corners to unwind. Guests will be able to enjoy a high performance workout in the Athletic Studio, which has zones for strength and cardio, as well as recovery. They can also relax and unwind at the Soul Studio, where they can practice yoga or mindful movement. Dining options will range from nutritious to indulgent, while social areas will flow seamlessly between connection and calm—creating space to work, relax, or reset. Partnering with Marassi Al Bahr Development Company is a subsidiary company of the Al Khaldi Holding Group of CompaniesThe 300-key Hotel is scheduled to open in 2029. The King Abdullah Civic Center, where the hotel is located, gives guests easy access to government offices, cultural institutions and commercial zones. This will reinforce the area’s growing status as an important civic and business center.

IHG currently owns 45 hotels in Saudi Arabia under six different brands, including InterContinental Hotel, Crowne Plaza Hotel, Holiday Inn Staybridge Suites voco. 47 more hotels are in the pipeline and will open in the next 3 to 5 years.
