A partnership between IHG Hotels & Resorts and Ashaad Company will see the development of three new hotels in Saudi Arabia, adding 1700 rooms to the country’s hospitality sector.

IHG Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Ashaad Company, a Saudi real estate developer, has released plans for three new hotel establishments in Saudi Arabia. Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate and InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hammera will be situated between Jeddah & Al Khobar. This development is in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and IHG’s growth strategy.

IHG Saudi Arabia’s portfolio is expected to grow by 1,700 rooms when the trio of hotels opens between 2028 and 2030. These properties will be under IHG management, expanding IHG’s reach to key cities in Saudi Arabia.

InterContinental Al Khobar Al Hamra is a 326 room hotel that will be located adjacent to Al Shubaily Grand Mall. The hotel will offer luxury hospitality to both business and leisure travelers in the Eastern Province.

voco Al Khobar Al Andalus will be the latest addition to IHG’s fastest-growing Premium Brand. It will include 717 rooms. The property will be located near key attractions, such as the Corniche. It will serve the city’s growing mix of leisure and business demand.

Hotel Indigo Jeddah Gate, with 700 rooms, will be located within a mixed use development that includes residential, commercial and hospitality components. The hotel is designed to meet the increasing demand for modern and lifestyle-driven hospitality services in southern Jeddah.

IHG currently owns and operates 45 hotels in Saudi Arabia under six different brands. An additional 49 hotels will be opened in the next three to four years.
