When I was packing to leave for a trip, I had a lot of things that I needed to do. trip to India—a modest country known for its hot climate—I was at a loss for what to wear. My standard summer wardrobe This includes bike shortsTanks and crop tops are not appropriate for temple wear. Not exactly temple appropriate. I didn’t really want to buy a new suitcase full of shoulder-covering, breathable outfits that I may never wear. So I decided to turn to NuulyI visited, a clothing-rental service, to browse its collection. It had over 16,000 items. I added six items: a flowy, white midi-skirt, a patterned, maxi-skirt, two lightweight Donni trousers, a breezy, short-sleeved button-down and a midi-dress I’ve never worn (too large).

It was the perfect balance: I didn’t overheat or pack too much, but still felt stylish and put together. I also stayed true my own style. That trip changed the way I pack: Renting clothes has become my go-to travel strategy—especially when I have to dress for a different climate or cultural setting, or want to try out new styles without committing to them forever.

Nuuly is a powerful tool that can be used to enhance your business.

Nuuly allows you to choose six items each month for $98. There is no commitment. I’ve used Nuuly on and off over the past year, sometimes pausing to try other services. BNTO. But anytime I have travel on the calendar, I always come back to Nuuly—its brand lineup is that solid. There are pieces by Agolde Farm Rio Donni Free People Anthropologie Levi’s Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Aloha Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Alohas Aloas Aloas Aloas Aloas Aloas Aloas Alohas Alohas Aloa Nuuly is my go-to for versatile travel pieces. (BNTO’s brands tend to be more city chic or streetwear, so they are great for everyday wear. Nuuly sends your items to you in a reusable bag. garment bag Everything is freshly cleaned and comes with a return label that you can prepay.

There’s no option to swap pieces mid-month, so you’re stuck with your picks even if they don’t you don’t like them or they don’t fit—but that limitation has actually helped me become a smarter packer. I plan my Nuuly rentals the same way as I would any other rental. build a capsule wardrobeThink about what you can wear together, what fabrics are durable and what you’ll actually want to wear. You can purchase any item you like. Nuuly offers discounts ranging from 15-75% on retail price depending on the time an item has spent in Nuuly’s rotation.

The interface allows you to easily curate your shopping cart. You can filter by size, color, brand, and even vibe—Nuuly has rotating seasonal “edits” like “Summer Outfitting” and “TrendsThis makes it easier for you to search. I usually spend a little time reading reviews to avoid sizing surprises—and I always go to the brand’s website and reference its size chart—but most listings have detailed fit notes and photos from previous renters, which helps so you can try to see what the piece looks like on a similar body type. It’s also a great way to try new styles while traveling or at home. If I’m not sure if a trend will work on me—like Bermuda denim shorts, drop-waist dresses, or skirt-layered-pants—I can try it with no strings attached. I will return the item at the end the month if I do not like the way it looks.

    Why I love travel

Although I used it primarily to create my travel wardrobe for India I also found it useful for other types. In a recent trip, I visited an all-inclusive resort in Aruba The two tops I chose (one white tube-top and one black embroidered top) were not my usual style. I also picked a seafoam maxi skirt, which made me feel as if I was drinking out of a tropical coconut. I would never wear such a thing in my normal life but for this occasion, it was perfect. few days on the beach? The perfect gift. It was perfect. I didn’t even have to clear out my closet, which I already had a lot of stuff in.
