Hyatt Hotels bets on luxury in Asia Pacific. While other global hotel chains focus their resources on budget and mid-range hotels, Hyatt Hotels has a different strategy.
Hyatt currently has a portfolio of nearly two thirds luxury and upper upscale properties in Asia Pacific. Hyatt will open 90 new luxury and lifestyle hotels in Asia Pacific over the next five-year period.
This includes the first Thompson Hotels property to open in the region. Andaz, The Standard and Park Hyatt will also be expanding their openings across major destinations such as Thailand, Malaysia and Australia.
