Central Park West, between West 75th and West 61st street is where you’ll find some of the most spectacular views. Arrive early as this is the start of the route. Arriving after the start time of 9 am will mean you miss a great vantage point to take in the beauty of the floats.
The view is spectacular between West 59th street and West 38th street as the parade proceeds south on Sixth Avenue. Avoid the stretch of West 34th Street from West 38th Street to West 34th Street on West 34th Street (between Sixth and Seventh Avenues) as there may be sidewalks closed because filming is taking place for the national TV broadcast.
