Choosing your spot to set as home base doesn’t have to be overwhelming—London is home to plenty of chic properties. Perhaps the most iconic London hotel. Claridge‘s is an absolute classic—packed full of old-school grandeur and timeless charm. It’s worth it to step into the lobby even if you don’t have the budget for a stay. You might spot a celebrity or two. The Ned is another stay that simply transports—the kind of place you could spend an entire weekend without setting foot outside, floating from the dreamy subterranean spa to martinis at Library Bar, followed by a slap-up meal at Lutyens Grill. Plus, the rooftop swimming pool is stunning.

The address is one of the most prestigious in the city. Rosewood The location is perfect for first-time visitors to London. My biggest tip? Don’t skip Scarfes Bar—it’s one of the best drinking spots around. The Martin Brudzinski designed bar is a great choice if you want to be buzzy. Broadwick Soho The bar is a relative newcomer in London, but locals and visitors love it for many reasons. Flute is a disco-chic roof bar where I can be found taking photos of the interiors while sipping a cocktail. The night at the NoMad London, which is housed in a former magistrates’ court in the middle of Covent Garden, is a sure-fire way to leave feeling more cultured than when you arrived, plus the newly revamped restaurant—Twenty8 NoMad—is worth a visit alone. You won’t regret booking a facial treatment with Katie England, an expert in the field. It will be one of your best experiences. Every night is like Friday at the Hôtel. The Standard, in the heart of London’s regenerated King’s Cross. Don’t let the Brutalist exterior fool you—inside is a retro-futuristic playground with one heck of a restaurant (Decimo) on the 10th floor.

    Day 1: Mayfair

    Mount Street Restaurant: Breakfast classics

Hyde Park: a stroll in the morning

    Hyde Park

Hyde Park in London is one of the largest green spaces in London. It’s perfect to stroll through in any season, but it’s especially beautiful in the fall when the colors of the leaves change. The park transforms into a jewel box with browns, golds, and reds.

The Hart: Pub food at The Hart

London is unfortunately not the type of city where one can walk in to a top restaurant on a friday night at 8pm without having made a reservation. Book ahead to avoid disappointment and save some room for last-minute discoveries.

Ronnie Scott’s: Evening entertainment: Live music

    Ronnie Scotts

Hop in a cab for 10 mins (or take a leisurely 30 min walk through Soho) to get to Ronnie’s Scott’s—a legendary jazz club hosting world-class live music every night since 1959. You can book tickets ahead of time, order Manhattans, and feel like you’ve just stumbled on a film.

    Day 2: Broadway Market

Benedict, a breakfast spot at Bistrotheque

    Bistrotheque

I’d never tire of this space. (Think: exposed brick, whitewashed interiors, and industrial decor). For a weekend brunch, I’m ordering the pork Benedict, mustard, and brown butter hollandaise and—depending on whether I’ve been out the night before—a very good Bloody Mary.

Evening Activity: Nightcaps At Satan’s Whiskers

Menu at Satan’s whiskers has a lot of creative concoctions. But don’t worry about going off-menu.

You can tell them what you want and they’ll create something that suits your taste.

    Day 3: Shoreditch

Jolene Redchurch St., Jolene: Breakfast spot.

Brick Lane morning activity: Stalls & snacks

    In general, avoid street food.

If you want to avoid the street food carts of New York, you should go to a food market/street food area like Brick Lane. (I am looking at you hot dog stands outside Tottenham Court Road).

Lunch spot: Carbs at Beigel Bake

Afternoon activity: Self-care at Sauna & Plunge

    Singburi Restaurant: Thai Favorites

Evening activity: Karaoke at Bao Shoreditch

    BAO Noodle Shop

Bao is the only place where you can enjoy karaoke with dumplings.
