I saw the gorillas RwandaWhat an amazing trip. It’s worth the effort to plan this trip. You have to obtain a permit, but it is well worth it. Although it’s not safe, I visited the Congo a few years ago and was blown away by the beauty of this country. South Africa was a wonderful place to work. I’ve been there many times. Cape Town, oh my god!
It was her first business or first-class flight.
I think it was on Pan AmI’ve read that Pan Am is returning. Pan Am was my favorite airline and I’m excited to see it return. The cabin was a glamorous one, but then everything looked glamorous. No matter if I was first or business, the cabin that I was in was fantastic. Back then, they served caviar and salmon on a tray. It’s sad to think of how things used to be. This was for my job. I wouldn’t have bought it. [ticket] For myself. I did not travel anywhere else to see my parents except for home. It was incredible to fly business or first, and I thought, “Wow! I’ve finally made it.”

Central Park is timeless. Thank goodness. It’s still beautiful. It was fun to show my friends who hadn’t been to the city before, the Bethesda Fountain, and the grand promenade. They had no idea it was so big and beautiful—and the musicians! Washington Square Park was also a great place to visit. It was crowded, but fun. You forget how much fun it is to be able to welcome people to your home. And we went on a trip to Dumbo – which is now an attraction for tourists? It’s crazy. The scenery is amazing. 1 Hotel Brooklyn is. They did a great job on the landscaping and restoration at the tip. It’s a beautiful view. It’s gorgeous down there. When we filmed the second season, I rented an Airbnb in the area. [of And Just Like That…] I didn’t know it was a spot for Instagram. I would run away from Instagram. Luckily, I was able to get away from them and take a lovely walk along the river.
She is very particular about the hotel amenities:
I love pillows and beds. I love to have coffee in my hotel room. I would like an espresso machine, or something similar. I am a fan of healthy food. This can be difficult to find, so I appreciate the 1 Hotels. It’s nice to have healthier options when traveling. I like a good view. I’ll pay a lot of money to have a good view. And a good location—I like to be able to walk out of my hotel and not be too far from a cute cafe.
Next, she would like to visit a place she has never visited before.
I’ve never been to Rome. You can’t believe it? It’s crazy. It’s crazy. I’ve been to Milan, which is a good thing, but I’d love to go on a longer trip to Italy, including Rome, Florence, the countryside, and maybe even Sicily. I would also love to bring my children. Many people tell me that it is kid-friendly. I believe they would enjoy it. This is more of a problem with planning. I don’t know exactly when I can take time off. I need to be more organized!
