New wall, door and trim paint was also applied, along with updated wood ceiling treatment, drapery and lighting. The design reimagining blends sophistication and accessibility, contemporary lines and rustic textures, as well as open space and intimate zones. The phases two and three of the renovation will include even more substantial improvements for the guest rooms and the suites. These include a redesign of the wood fireplace cladding in the room and a complete remodelling of the kitchens, entranceways, and closets of the suites. The renovation of the corridors at the hotel, which will start in the autumn, will transform the space by adding new carpeting, modernized paint and updated lighting fixtures. This new, striking look will seamlessly create an earthy, fresh and cohesive aesthetic, from the hotel lobby to guest rooms.

The goal of the overall renovation design is to create a timeless European-inspired atmosphere while maintaining authenticity, and a strong connection to local landscape. Each detail was carefully selected to create a sense place, including the use of natural woods like Douglas fir or cedar as well as handcrafted furniture made from teak. Earthy tones such as the sagebrush inspired wool-nylon mix carpet complement the natural surroundings, and create a spacious and comfortable environment for the guests.
