France: Property developer Caudwell has partnered with Hôtel Belles Rives to provide concierge and lifestyle services at Le Provençal, a residential redevelopment in Juan-les-Pins, Cap d’Antibes.
Le Provençal occupies the former Hôtel Provençal, originally built in the 1920s and which closed in 1977 for refurbishment. The property, located on the French Riviera was never reopened.
Caudwell bought the site in 2014 and has been working with Parisian design and architecture firm Affine Design, to turn it into 41 residences. The upper floors are home to three penthouses with private pools and six-bedrooms each.
Under the agreement, Hôtel Belles Rives will manage a concierge team based on-site, providing services including valet parking, post and delivery management, spa bookings and guest reception to guests of Le Provençal. Residents will also have access to priority reservations at the restaurants and private beach facilities of Hôtel Belles Rives, located next door.
On request, additional services include housekeeping and linen changes, airport transfer, car hire, boat charters, cultural tours, and private fitness sessions or wellness sessions.
As part of the restoration of Le Provençal, facilities also include six acres of landscaped grounds, a swimming pool, health spa, cinema, gym, retail units, and underground parking.
It will be finished in summer 2025. Apartments are priced between €4.5 million and €8 million (£3.85 million to £6.85 million), with larger residences starting from €15 million (£12.85 million).
John Caudwell, founder of Caudwell, said: “The partnership with the Hôtel Belles Rives provides Le Provençal with outstanding five-star concierge and lifestyle services, valet parking and the benefit of privileged reservation at the Hótel Belles Rives restaurants, cocktail bar and private beach.
“The concierge security and services, such as apartment cleaning, bed linen cleaning and turn down and airport transfer, provide Le Provençal with the perfect lock-up-and-leave offering for second home owners and a premium buy-to-let opportunity for investors.”
Stéphane Vuillaume, director and general manager at Hôtel Belles Rives, said: “For nearly a century, Hôtel Belles Rives has embodied the golden age of Riviera hospitality, where timeless elegance meets the refined art of personalised service. Our concierge upholds the storied tradition of the grand hotels of Europe, anticipating every need and crafting experiences that capture the effortless glamour of the Côte d’Azur.
