Neil Jacobs has spent the last 13 years building Six Senses, a resort known for its sustainability and wellness. Jacobs’ new venture, Wild Origins was launched a week after Jacobs left his position as CEO. It offers advice to hospitality groups and developers about everything from branding strategy, design, and operation.
Jacobs said to Skift: “We could act like consultants and offer McKinsey style advice, or we could do it ourselves.”
Wild Origins advises Capella Hotel Group on its plans to expand the number of hotels it opens in 2019. Jacobs advises the group’s growth strategy and leadership planning. This includes the recruitment of a CEO.
You go from having one hotel open every two to three years to the next year opening a whole new chain.
