The Gulf Education and Training Exhibition, the region’s largest student recruitment platform, will return to the Dubai World Trade Centre from April 30 through May 2, 2025. GETEX is a great opportunity for families and students to explore higher education options. The Knowledge and Human Development Authority, or KHDA will support GETEX in 2025.
This year, GETEX will feature interactive workshops on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotics. These workshops give students a unique hands-on experience in future-focused disciplines. During the three days of GETEX, students will have the chance to explore possible career paths as well as develop critical skills along with educators and experts.
The country pavilions will feature institutions and government boards from Malaysia, India and Pakistan, allowing students to access scholarship programs and study options.
“With the shift in global geopolitical dynamics, a significant number of families have relocated to Dubai and coupled with reduced student intakes by major destinations like Canada, USA, UK, and Australia, the demand for diverse, high-quality academic options within the region has substantially increased” said Anselm Godinho, Managing Director of International Conferences & Exhibitions, organizers of GETEX. We have responded to the demand by expanding GETEX to include additional global universities, and offering diverse course offerings. This will ensure that students can make informed decisions about their futures.
Dubai’s rising appeal as an international hub of higher education can be seen in the increasing enrolments that are recorded at universities abroad with campuses located in the UAE. This momentum is aligned with KHDA’s The Education 33(E33) Strategy, which reinforces Dubai’s ambitious goal to rank amongst the top ten global education cities by 2030.
GETEX offers over 900 academic courses in areas such as medicine, management, engineering, finance and information technology, among others. It is a catalyst that will help shape the future of the learning industry in the Middle East.
