The significant expansion—LIV now boasts 80,000 square feet of space—comes less than two years after its opening.
After our first show, we knew that we needed to expand. [DJ] David Grutman is the founder of Groot Hospitality and LIV. He told T+L that he had to turn away more than 1,000 people when he was at John Summit.. The decision to launch the inaugural pool season Combining day and night operations will create a seamless experience for the guests. The former separate spaces have been combined into a large and expansive venue with a dynamic “festival-like”, immersive atmosphere.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas says the reconfigured space cost “eight figures” and features two entrances that give it a stadium-like feel, rather than an amphitheater. General admission guests can enter on the second floor, whereas VIPs will have a field-level entrance located directly at the resort’s swimming pool.
The new design provides a higher-quality experience through improved visibility to the DJ booth, increased greenery and a mixology program that features 15 exclusive specialty drinks.
In LIV Nightclub the stage was lowered to allow for a larger dance floor. Grutman described this as “putting everyone in the middle of the action.” GA+ is a new backstage premium ticket option that grants fans exclusive access to a backstage bar. This is a first in Las Vegas as traditionally, backstage areas were reserved for the most expensive tables. In addition, the new LED enhancements will enhance production quality, and table-customers can now order Miami Slice pizza.

LIV Beach’s outdoor tables have been increased by 33. Each table has a private safe and offers access to Groot Hospitality’s curated menu. If you book one of our luxurious cabanas or papi bungalows that come with private bathrooms and pools, the gourmet experience continues in the form of premium meats and seafood from Grutman’s Komodo & Papi Steak.
In addition to the newly-expanded indoor-outdoor area, the new space allows for additional tables in the nightclub where guests can watch live performances outside while enjoying a climate-controlled atmosphere. Clubgoers will also be able to venture to LIV Beach as the night falls. There, they can enjoy DJ programming, and streamed performances by the night’s headliners. The current lineup at LIV includes performances by DJs like Tiësto, Metro Boomin, Dom Dolla, and David Guetta.
LIV has opened its doors since Fontainebleau Las Vegas In late 2023, it will be 15 years since its Miami counterpart. Grutman, Jeff Soffer, Chairman and CEO of Fontainebleau Development curated the resort’s entertainment district. This included outposts from Grutman’s renowned Miami venues, including Papi Steak and Komodo.
