Over the past century, Field & Stream The brand has equipped adventurers to enjoy the great outdoors. The brand has expanded beyond its gear this month with the launch of their first hotel on May 15. The resort is part of the new hospitality platform for the company. Field & Stream Lodge Co.The hotel is located just one mile from downtown Bozeman. The property has 179 guestrooms and suites. There is also an indoor pool as well as a 29,000-square foot outdoor landscaped space called “The Backyard,” which includes canvas umbrellas and canoe shaped firepits.
The hotel’s interior is inspired by a vintage hunting lodge with warm wood panels, plaid carpets and upholstered furniture, as well as statement details such as mounted antlers or an antique canoe hanging from the ceiling.
Accommodations include Mountain King and Bunk Rooms for double occupancy, as well as connecting suites that are designed for groups and families. Each has modern features like workspaces, mini-fridges, and wool camping blankets. Some rooms include a sleeper couch.
“Field & Stream Bozeman celebrates the brand’s rich history while introducing modern comforts and a focus on great American hospitality,” Bill Cottrill, the resort’s general manager, said in a press release shared with Travel + Leisure. The Lodge offers a sense of place that will allow travelers to truly immerse themselves into the spirit of Big Sky Country.

The resort is perfectly located for guests to take full advantage of the region’s famed outdoor adventures—hiking trails, mountain biking routes, world-class fly fishing, and premier skiing at nearby Bridger Bowl, Yellowstone National ParkYellowstone River, and the Yellowstone River.
Guests can relax after exploring in the communal areas. The indoor pool features rustic Adirondacks and loungers with plaid covers. Chandeliers made from old snowshoes are also featured. The Great Room of the lodge, which is anchored by a stone fireplace, makes it a great place to gather around board games and share stories over craft beer. The Backyard offers guests the opportunity to enjoy casual meals at picnic tables or around firepits.

The lodge is introducing its own restaurant in June. Dry Fly Saloon will offer hearty breakfasts, dinners, and desserts that are inspired by Montana’s culinary tradition.
