- EVA Air will debut its upgraded premium economy cabin on a new Dallas–Taiwan route launching in October.

EVA Air will soon make traveling to Taiwan more comfortable. The airline plans to launch its newly designed premium economy seats along the new route that will be launched from Dallas to Taiwan.
The premium seats are available on flights from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to Taiwan Taoyuan Airport. when it launches in OctoberEVA Air has shared its experience with Travel + Leisure. After announcing the new premium economy cabin earlier this summer, the Taiwanese airlines will be the first to fly it in the United States.
The new cabin configuration has 28 seats in a 2-3-2 arrangement with cradle style recline to maximize personal space. Each seat features a 15.6″ HD touchscreen, 42″ seat pitch, adjustable tray table specially designed for digital devices, as well as privacy panels. The airline also offers sustainable amenities such as eco-friendly blankets with double-sided sides and bamboo fiber napkins, to complement its gourmet snacks and velvet slippers.
EVA Air introduced its first premium economy cabins to its fleet in 1992.
Andrew Su (executive vice president, EVA Air North America) said, “This product development reflects our commitment in providing passengers greater comfort and convenience while meeting growing demand for more spacious and refined travel experiences.” Dallas-Fort Worth, a vibrant hub that has strong cultural and business ties with Asia, is the perfect place to launch this upgraded product.
EVA Air will be the first Asian airline to offer two routes in Texas. The new route complements its existing route from Houston. EVA Air is initially operating the Dallas route with a Boeing Dreamliner 3 times per week. The airline will then increase this to 5 times per weeks starting November 18 and eventually to daily service by December 15.
