US/Latin America: Lifestyle hospitality group Ennismore has expanded its presence in North America with a number of hotel signings, including in Mexico and in the United States.
Four of its brands – Delano, Hyde, The Hoxton. Mama Shelter – will enter the Mexican market for the first time, with projects confirmed in Los Cabos and Mexico City.
Mama Shelter Mexico City, which will have 100 rooms in late 2025 and focus on cultural and informal dining, is expected to open.
Also in Mexico City, Hyde will launch later this year on Avenue Paseo de la Reforma, featuring 215 rooms, dining venues, and event facilities. In 2028, The Hoxton will follow with 80-rooms.
Delano East Cape is scheduled to open by 2029. It will feature 117 rooms, 60 residences and five restaurants on a beachfront of 100 metres in Los Cabos. There will also be a spa and wellness areas.
Hyde Mazatlan will open on the western coast in Mexico with 172 suites and rooms by 2027.
Ennismore’s Morgans Originals has expanded its collection in Miami with the addition of Balfour Miami Beach. The restored Art Deco hotel is located in the South of Fifth neighborhood. It features 82 guest rooms, a rooftop swimming pool, and several dining concepts, including Cleo, SoFi Coffee, among others.
Delano Miami Beach should reopen late in 2025 after major renovations. The renovated property will have 171 rooms and Suites, wellness amenities, a collection new restaurants and the Rose Bar.
With more than 45 ongoing projects in 20 different countries, the group has also expanded its presence in branded residences. Mondrian Residences Hallandale Beach is a 26-storey building near Miami that has 250 condominiums. It also features a tennis court, fitness center, pool and other amenities.
Ennismore will continue its expansion into the all inclusive segment by adding six resorts to the group in Mexico. These are located in Puerto Vallarta and Cozumel as well as Cancun, Acapulco and Ixtapa. Three of these properties will be rebranded to become part of Royal Holiday Group. Rixos.
In collaboration with LCH Development Limited and with plans to build a luxury resort, the company recently entered Jamaican markets.
