Radisson Hotel Group promoted Elie milky to Chief Development officer for Middle East Cyprus and Greece. This reinforces its commitment to double their regional portfolio by 2030 to more than 150 hotels with 50,000 keys currently in operation or under development. Milky celebrated 15 years at the company in November. She has led many of Radisson Hotel Group’s most important deals throughout Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and beyond, making the Middle East Radisson’s fast-growing market.
Radisson, under Milky’s direction, is expanding its Development and Feasibility team, adding project managers and specialist analysts to improve deal sourcing, technical support, and underwriting. The team, which is based in Dubai, makes frequent visits to Riyadh and Cairo as well as other regions, to provide owners with on-the-ground assistance.
Radisson has expanded its footprint in the region over the past 12 months. Two new Park Inn hotels; Makkah Thakher Alsharqi and Makkah Thakher Algharbi deepened the Group’s presence in the holy city along with a recent opening in Riyadh and Madinah as well, while November 2024 welcomed Park Inn by Radisson Hotel & Apartments Kuwait, the brand’s second property in the country. In Q4 2025, Radisson Collection Riyadh will be the third property in the Saudi capital. Radisson Collection Residence Amman Abdoun, Radisson RED Amman Downtown, and Radisson RED Ras Al Khaimah are all new brands for Jordan. Two more Radisson RED properties will be built in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia and Ras Al Khaimah (UAE). In total, the Middle East Portfolio now has close to 100 hotels under construction or in operation. Radisson is on track for its 2020 growth goal of over 150 properties with 50,000 keys.
