    Edouard lapasset will be the new General Manager for Mandarin Oriental Paris starting June 1, 2025. He continues his career at the prestigious rue Saint-Honoré property, where he has served as Hotel Manager since 2022.

    Edouard has nearly 20 years experience in the luxury hospitality industry, 11 of which were spent at Mandarin Oriental. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to hotel management, as well as a thorough understanding of this sector. Driven by curiosity for all aspects of the hotel industry, Edouard gained experience in various departments (Purchasing, Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Project Management) before joining Mandarin Oriental as Assistant Front Office Manager at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva.

    Then he rose to the position of Director of Rooms before taking the same role in Mandarin Oriental Doha, 2020.

    He joined Mandarin Oriental Paris in 2022 as Hotel Manager. Since then, he has contributed to the hotel’s reputation as a benchmark of French luxury hospitality.

    Edouard is a Parisian native and ambassador for French savoir-faire in France and internationally. He discovered early his passion for the hospitality industry through his travels, which ignited his love for service, but most importantly, human connection. He is passionate about the experience of both guests and employees and strives to be excellent in everything he does.

    As a competitive fencer, he is influenced by values like performance, self improvement, leadership and the importance family, discipline and teamwork. He applies these principles to his professional and personal life.
