Duetto (“Duetto” or the “Company”), a leading provider of revenue management software for the hospitality industry, today announced a strategic leadership transition as the Company enters a new phase of growth and innovation.
David Woolenberg decided to resign as Chief Executive Officer after six years. David Woolenberg will stay with Duetto for a period of transition to ensure continuity and to support a seamless transfer. David’s contributions to Duetto culture, operational performance and strategic vision over the long term have been acknowledged by the Board of Directors. David’s leadership enabled Duetto to scale its business, expand its geographical footprint, introduce new products and services, and increase the number of clients that it serves.
Alex Zoghlin was appointed CEO with immediate effect. Alex Zoghlin, a Duetto Board member, and, most recently, CEO of ATPCO brings a wealth of expertise in scaling technology companies across the travel, hospitality, and tourism sectors. Alex’s background in innovation and customer-centricity will allow him to accelerate Duetto’s global expansion and mission. Alex was previously the Global Head for Innovation and Technology of Hyatt Hotels, where he oversaw the transformation of Hyatt’s digital and customer technology strategy. He also served as the CTO and founder of Orbitz where he was instrumental in changing the way online travel bookings are done. Alex, in addition to his tenure at ATPCO as CEO, where he guided the company through a significant period of modernization and growth has founded and scaled numerous successful technology firms, building a history of innovation, leadership and operational excellence within highly competitive markets.
“Serving as CEO of Duetto has been an incredible experience, and I am proud of the strong business we have built — one that is well-positioned for continued growth and innovation,” said Woolenberg. After six years it felt like the right moment for change. I could not think of anyone better to lead Duetto into its next chapter than Alex. He is the perfect choice for the next chapter of Duetto because he has the experience, leadership and understanding of the space.
Zoghlin said, “It is an honor to be the next CEO of such a remarkable company. I look forward to working with our talented team members around the world to provide differentiated revenue management to the hospitality sector.” “The hospitality sector is experiencing a rapid period of transformation. This is driven by the changing expectations of guests, increasing operational costs and economic instability. Hoteliers must have more robust, innovative and effective technology to meet their requirements. With a powerful vision for products, deep relationships with customers, and a redesigned brand strategy, we are confident of our ability to guide hotels through this transformation and unlock growth in the future.
This announcement follows the successful launch of Duetto’s Revenue & Profit Operating System—a transformative solution designed to unify data, automation, and intelligence across all facets of hotel revenue and profit performance.
