Delta Air Lines has announced that it will begin a new service soon between New York’s LaGuardia Airport LGA and Panama City, FloridaNorthwest Florida Beaches International Airport, which is located in Panama City Beach (ECP), and the surrounding areas. The service will be offered weekly beginning June 14, before becoming daily starting November 6.
Travel + Leisure found one-way tickets as low as $199 on Delta’s site, available throughout the summer and autumn.

Originally announced in February, the flight route was greeted with excitement by airport officials who hailed it as “historic” to the region.
In an interview with WJHG, the local news station at the time the announcement was made, ECP Airport Executive director Parker W. McClellan Jr. stated that the partnership with Delta Air Lines would provide more convenient travel options for our passengers and improve connectivity between New York City to the beautiful beaches in Northwest Florida.
