An Interior Organized and Spacious
When I travel I overpack, but I also do it when I leave my hotel room. My purse must have enough room to fit my essentials: wallet, passport, sunnies, lip balm and sunscreen, as well as a portable charger. The main compartment of my Ace Fanny Pack is large enough to store all these items and still have room left over for other items such as a snack or a small packable bag. There are slip pockets inside the main compartment for my lip balm or ID cards and a key chain. This makes it easy to grab these items. I have only used the small zippered pocket on the front of my pouch for coins, as it is not large enough to hold much else. I’ve also placed my ID in the hidden back slip pocket for going through the TSA security line—it really reduces the frenzied stress of having to locate my pass and ID when the line moves a little quicker than expected.
It is Comfortable to Carry
I am not a fan of fanny packs because they are too stylish. A pouch can be too big for me because I am a petite person. Ace Fanny Pack has the perfect size to sit across my chest, or around my waist. It doesn’t drag me down. It’s very easy to adjust the strap to as much as 36 inches. I’ve even done this while wearing it and running to catch the metro. It’s great that I can change the strap to wear it more like a shoulderbag when I dress it up. It looks great with jeans and T-shirts during the day.

Dagne Dover bags really shine in my opinion because the neoprene signature material is travel-friendly. I am a notorious spiller of things—lip gloss, coffee, sunscreen…you name it, I’ve spilled it in and on this bag. This bag was covered in glitter eyeshadow after a concert. All I had to do to restore it was to dunk it into a cold soapy bath. The neoprene material is also resistant to water, protecting items such as wireless earbuds. It’s thick and soft on the inside, so I throw in my expensive sunglasses (I know I shouldn’t) knowing that they will be protected if I accidentally sit on it.
The Verdict
It’s my favorite and first fanny bag. It is less sporty and more stylish than most other fanny pack styles. This makes it a great alternative to the traditional fanny pack that can deter some travelers. It’s worth every penny. Whether you are hiking in mountains or exploring the city, the pack can adapt to your needs.
