Asante Asset Management, a Florida-based company, is proud to announce the rapid progress of construction on the new AC Hotel by Marriott inspired by Europe in historic St. Augustine. Construction started in April 2024 and is scheduled to open fall 2025. The hotel will introduce a refined, contemporary lodging experience in the heart of America’s oldest city.
AC Hotel St. Augustine offers 142 well-designed rooms spread over four floors. The hotel is designed to appeal to both leisure and corporate travelers who value sleek style. Highlights include the AC Lounge & Kitchen, offering curated menu selections, Spanish wines and crafted cocktails including the brand’s signature GinTonic; a 24-7 fitness center; and a stylish outdoor lounge pool ideal for cooling off after a day of exploration. The 1,500-square-foot flexible meeting area is perfect for hosting weddings, business meetings and special events.
On Riberia Street, along with the San Sebastian River and its scenic views, guests have easy access to St. Augustine’s most popular attractions. These include the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument as well as Flagler College. San Sebastian Winery Ice Plant, St. Augustine Distillery and other entertainment venues are just a few steps from the hotel. The hotel is located near the San Sebastian Riverfront as well as a nearby marina.
Asante Asset Management is the owner and developer of this hotel. BCA Studios was the architect and EDGEiD led interior design. McKibbon Hospitality, which manages more than 100 properties throughout the southeast including four AC Hotels, will take over the management of the hotel at its opening.
