Essex Hotel Management LLC Has hired Christopher Wietig As its new director for business development, the role was created by the company.
In his new position, Wietig will spearhead Essex’s efforts to expand its portfolio—aiming to meet the company’s stated goal of doubling its managed properties within five years—by identifying and securing new contracts. Ses responsibilities include managing portfolio growth, implementing business development tools, supervising contract negotiations, and cultivating strong relations with owners, industry stakeholders, and investors.
Wietig brings to Essex over 20 years of experience in enterprise marketing, sales, real estate, development, and asset management, spanning the hospitality, mixed-use and industrial sectors. Prior to joining Essex he was director of business for Frontier Group of Properties based in Buffalo, NY. The company had a diverse portfolio of real estate.
