Choice Hotels Asia-Pac is delighted to announce the return of its feel-good fundraising campaign, ‘Check-in for Charity’. The initiative runs from 11 to 17 August 2025 and Choice Privileges members and Choice Hotels’ guests are invited to be a part of it.
During the fundraising week, hotels from within the Choice Hotels Asia-Pac network of more than 170 properties across Australia and New Zealand will donate $2 from every stay to their charity partner, the Alannah & Madeline Foundation. The funds will help the Foundation achieve its mission of keeping children and youth free from violence, trauma and abuse wherever they live and learn.
Trent Fraser, the CEO of Choice Hotels Asia-Pacific, stated that there was always more money to be given and his team was happy to see franchisees raise money for this important cause.
“We are proud of the dedication our franchisees demonstrate to be community-minded and foster a satisfied and engaged workforce. Our partnership with the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, supporting the work they do to protect children, means so much to us,” Trent said.
We are committed to supporting causes that promote the safety and well-being of children.
“Beyond fundraising, Choice Hotels team members continue to roll up their sleeves to help pack Buddy Bags for the Foundation – backpacks filled with essential items for vulnerable children in crisis across Australia. These initiatives make a difference to the community and we are committed in supporting them.
Choice Hotels Asia-Pac will raise more than $50,000 in 2024 through its Check-in for Charity program in Australia. In addition, funds raised in New Zealand for Cystic Fibrosis New Zealand. Choice Hotels contributes corporately to help support franchisee fundraising.
Check-in for Charity is easy to support. Guests are able to book a stay during the campaign and members can donate Choice Privileges point to help the cause.
