Virtuoso, the global leader in luxury and experiential travel, continues to see record growth across the nine regions worldwide in which it operates. The company announced changes to its Senior Leadership Team in order to better meet the needs of their rapidly expanding member base and partners. They also announced a strategic realignment that reflects Virtuoso’s constant focus on shaping luxury travel’s future.
Cheryl Cheney Bunker has been named senior vice president of global memberships by Virtuoso. Bunker, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience, has been with Virtuoso in 2007 and is responsible for leading teams that work with Virtuoso members agencies and advisors. This helps to maximize engagement and increase preferred partner sales. Bunker’s most recent role was as vice president for global member relationships, where he provided strategic direction, leadership and management for a team of over 1,200 travel agent locations in 58 different countries, including North America Latin America the Caribbean Europe Asia-Pacific Africa and Middle East.
Bunker, in her expanded role as Vice President of Global Membership for Virtuoso, will be responsible to set the strategic direction. She will be responsible for driving sustained growth and enhancing member engagement by maintaining and evolving Virtuoso’s rigorous membership standards.
Bunker will be based in Windermere (Florida) and continue her role as Secretary of State.
