Christian Jaquier has over 20 years experience in luxury hospitality, spanning Asia, Africa, the United States and beyond. Christian brings an unique blend of expertise and warmth to create unforgettable experiences for guests.
Christian is a seasoned hotelier who has served in senior roles at some of the most renowned hospitality companies, such as The Ritz-Carlton Resorts and AYANA Resorts. His experience includes pre-openings and repositioning of projects, as well as implementing new service standards. Christian’s most recent position was as General Manager for Long Beach Mauritius. Christian is also a family man who enjoys life’s little pleasures. He loves to hike in nature, play badminton, experiment in the kitchen, and enjoy playing badminton. Christian is eager to take on his new role as he leads the Capella Ubud Team. He will work hand-in-hand with the team to maintain the personalised experiences for guests and to continue the meaningful relationships the team has developed since the opening of the hotel in 2018.
