New York – Beyond GreenThis global portfolio, which includes some of the most environmentally friendly accommodations on planet Earth, is proud to announce that six new properties will be added to its portfolio between 1 January and 31 March 2025. This strategic expansion underscores the brand’s continued growth across four continents—Africa, South America, Asia, and Europe—including its inaugural property in Bhutan.

Beyond Green connects travelers to properties that positively impact nature, culture, and community. All members must adhere to more than 50 sustainability indicators aligned to global standards and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Our global portfolio now comprises almost 60 properties spread across 22 countries. These include 20 renowned andBeyond Lodges.

We are honored to welcome these new members into our global network. Their membership creates a powerful opportunity for mutual impact – by combining their valuable perspectives as safeguards of our planet with the strength of our collective resources and community, we can work together to scale meaningful, positive change. Lindsey Ueberroth is the CEO of Beyond Green

New member properties added in the last few months include:

    • EK HOTEL (Bogotá, Colombia) – Located in Bogotá’s vibrant financial district—where world-class restaurants, cultural attractions, and the city’s most exciting nightlife converge—EK HOTEL blends contemporary design with comfort and sustainability. This urban retreat is a sophisticated, upscale getaway that features green spaces and materials sourced from Colombian artisans. It fosters a peaceful connection with nature and celebrates the rich culture of the region while supporting the local economy. EK HOTEL has also made a commitment to ethical tourism and social responsibility in Colombia. It supports indigenous communities by reforestation of the Amazon, promotes diversity and inclusion, and works to protect children against exploitation.
    • Can Lluc (Ibiza, Spain) – This 300-year-old family estate has been transformed into a tranquil, lush valley in the middle of the island. The gardens are adorned with almond, olive and fig trees. Can Lluc is a true authentic experience. The traditional Ibicencan style of architecture blends seamlessly with the landscape, and the home has been restored to its original state. The estate also includes new villas built around the central area. Some have private pools, and the wellness cabin offers massages, body treatments, and facials. Sustainability plays a central role, with 110 solar panels meeting nearly half of the hotel’s energy needs and reducing CO₂ emissions by over 45,000 pounds each year. The restaurant uses local ingredients including olive oil produced on the estate.
    • andBeyond Klein’s Camp (Sedeco, Tanzania) – From the Kuka Hills, andBeyond’s Klein’s Camp offers sweeping views over the rolling grasslands and wooded riverbanks. The private preserve offers a wildlife experience that is unmatched, with bush walks, night drives and off-road driving. It also hosts the Great Wildebeest Migration every year. AndBeyond’s Klein’s Camp is actively involved in conservation efforts. This includes combating poaching with the Serengeti de-snaring program and reducing waste by having a bottling facility on site that eliminates more than 220,000 plastic bottles each year. The Maasai people are also a part of the experience, and their deep connection to the land is evident in every aspect.
    • andBeyond Serengeti Under Canvas (Serengeti National Park, Tanzania) – The luxury tented suites, which rotate between private campsites within Serengeti National Park in anticipation of the Great Migration’s movements, offer guests unparalleled access to this remarkable phenomenon. Guests are immersed in the raw beauty and theatre of the African bush, with up-close encounters of vast wildebeest herds, big cats, rhinos, cheetahs, elephants and buffalo traversing the plains—all experienced through the charm of classic safari camping. andBeyond’s focus in Tanzania is on community support. This includes a focus on education, healthcare and improvements to infrastructure. Highlights include excursions to Olduvai Gorge and Shiftings Sands and Lake Victoria as well as stargazing, hot air ballooning, alfresco dining, and other activities.
    • andBeyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge (Magara, Tanzania) – The lodge is surrounded by lush mahogany trees and ten treehouses. It seamlessly blends in with the surrounding natural beauty. From generous decks suspended above the forest, guests can view large elephant families and a wide variety of birds. The bicycle tour and community visit in Mayoka is an important highlight. It offers a rare opportunity to see development projects and healthy ecosystems. The Echo program—developed in partnership with nonprofit Wild Impact—introduces local schoolchildren to Lake Manyara National Park, fostering conservation awareness and inspiring future environmental stewards.
    • andBeyond Punakha River Lodge (Punakha, Bhutan) – This all-inclusive resort is located in the lush green Punakha valley on the banks the Mo Chu River. It offers an exclusive experience that combines Bhutanese cultural heritage, active adventure, and spiritual wellness. Safari-style suites, built in perfect harmony to the surrounding terrain, and uninterrupted views of Himalaya exude an authentic sense of place. Bhutan is one of few carbon-negative nations committed to protecting its forested areas. The lodge, which is located on just 7 acres of the 50 acres owned by the company, was carefully designed and furnished to meet these standards. The lodge supports regional wildlife initiatives to protect endangered species, while also fostering community partnerships. This includes land donations to farmers and job opportunities for nearby villages.
