Booking a hotel could be the same as booking a free flight from New York to Bermuda.
Island-based carrier BermudAir is offering a 100 percent discount off the base airfare—amounting to essentially free flights—from the New York City area when travelers book a winter getaway package with a hotel stay. The “Winter Out, Bermuda In!” Promotions are available for travel from New York’s LaGuardia Airport, New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport and Westchester County Airport to Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport.

To qualify, travelers must purchase a three-night hotel package along with roundtrip airfare by December 6th and travel from Dec. 1, 2019 to March 31, 2026. The base airfare is included in the offer, but the traveler must still pay any taxes and fees related to the trip.

T+L reports that Bermudair has launched new flights from LaGuardia to Newark and Newark in the last week. The airline will fly to and out of Newark every Thursday and Sunday, and to/from LaGuardia every Wednesday and Saturday.

BermudAir was launched in 2023 and operates Embraer E175 or E190 aircraft. The airline also flies from New York to Boston, Orlando and Raleigh/Durham in the United States as well as several Canadian destinations.
