    • Avis Budget announced a luxury service recently: AvisFirst.
    • Customers can arrange curbside pick-up and drop-off at the airport.
    • The service is now available at Denver, Honolulu and Palm Beach airports.

Avis Budget Group has introduced a new luxury service that allows customers to avoid the long lines at airport car rental counters and shuttles.

The new curbside services, also called Avis First‘s rental car service will deliver cars to airport terminals. according to the company. The new service can be found at the major airports of Denver, Honolulu and Palm Beach in Florida.

Avis CEO Brian Choi said: “I remember hauling strollers and car seats through airport trams, which can be difficult.” Travel + Leisure. “We believe this makes a big difference.”

Choi believes Avis First is a new category of service in the car rental market. It offers concierge-level service at a premium price.

The vehicle of their choice is delivered to the terminal when travelers sign up for the service at the airport. Avis charges customers the current market price of gas, so they don’t have to worry about prepaying or refilling their tanks.

All cars in the Avis First Program are low-mileage 2025 models.

The service is available in selected locations in the New York City area, such as Manhattan, Hoboken and Jersey City, as well as Chicago, San Francisco and Miami. It’s also available in Seattle and Washington D.C.

For neighborhood renters—often families or people traveling for a road-trip—picking up a rental car can be difficult. Avis First aims to simplify the experience for time-conscious travellers who want a personalized service.

The benefits of the trip are great, but the price is higher.

A search conducted by T+L during the writing of this article revealed that an Avis first rental between Sept. 8 and Sept. 12 in Denver International Airport (DEN) would cost $547 per person for a Mercedes Benz GLS 450. Renting a Jeep Grand Cherokee from the “Standard Elite” category of the company will cost only $435 during the same period.

Travelers who hope to save money on a car rental You can also check your own airline loyalty programs For discounts, travelers should search for third-party discount websites, be on the lookout for junk fees, designate a designated driver and keep an eye open for coupons. In general (but not always), renting a car at the airport may be expensive. To save money, travelers should choose a rental location that is located off-airport.
