Kayak was one of first travel companies in 2023 to adopt generative AI, launching a ChatGPT plug-in. The plugin has been discontinued but the company has launched a few other experiments including a chatbot that searches for travel deals and a price checking tool. The Silk Lakehouse occupies the former Xiling Hotel, which is located on the banks of West Lake. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was built in 1898.
