Accor Does Not See Major Demand Changes Despite Economic Stress
Accor’s Paris-based hotel chain reported a strong first-quarter result despite broader economic worries related to the U.S. recent trade policies. Martine Gerow said, “We don’t see cracks in the demand”, on a Thursday earnings call. “We’re feeling good about the April and May trends.” Gerow said that while March’s performance was softer than January and Febraury, this was due to the calendar shifts.
