Airbnb is pursuing a more aggressive strategy in order to attract more hotel guests who are willing to stay in Airbnbs. Last week, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky informed financial analysts that Airbnb “is going significantly more aggressively in hotels”. We have spent a great deal of time researching hotels. “We think it’s compelling.” Chesky stated that Airbnb’s commissions to hotels are “very competitive” and added that the company has been in contact with hotels all over the world.
