Aperture Hotels The appointment has been made Kate Bain VP, commercial strategy. She oversees the sales, marketing, and revenue optimization strategies for all of the company’s products in this newly created position.
Bain joins the company with more than twenty years of experience in hospitality, having held leadership positions in areas such as hotel sales and catering, and event management. Most recently, she served as the area director of sales at InterMountain Management where she was responsible commercial performance in a collection Marriott-branded hotel.
She has worked for Omni, Marriott and Swissotel, and also at independent properties. Her experience includes large-scale catering, sales and marketing, and she was involved in the University of Kentucky Athletics and Washington Nationals Ballpark. She started her hospitality career as a front desk agent at an Omni Hotel, before moving into roles in food and beverage management and sales.
