Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines launched a service to Tokyo. You can get round-trip airfares for as low at $612.
It’s now easier to fly from the U.S. to Tokyo.
Alaska Airlines Group now offers a direct flight from Seattle (SEA) to Tokyo (NRT). The flight, which takes 10.5 hours to complete, departs Seattle around 1:30 pm and arrives at Tokyo at 4 pm the following day.
Airbus A330-200 is equipped with Wi-Fi, power outlets at each seat and personal entertainment. Hawaiian Airlines will be operating the flight. Alaska Airlines will acquire Hawaiian Airlines in September of 2024. The two carriers will continue to operate as their respective brands.
Hawaiian Airlines’ CEO, Joe Sprague stated in a press release obtained by Travel + Leisure. “We’re delighted to open this global gateway with Alaska. It will give more Pacific Northwest and beyond travelers the chance to experience Hawaiian hospitality, which is renowned for its award-winning service.”
T+L has spotted round-trip tickets for as little as $612 (or 37,500 miles) in the coming weeks. Cabin options include premium economy, business class and economy.
