UK: Boutique hotel The Memoir Club, formerly known as Ambassadors Bloomsbury, has reopened after undergoing a refurbishment.
Wellbrook Hospitality The idea of a rebranded luxury resort was conceived. The hotel is located on Upper Woburn Place and has 100 rooms.
ICA Studio, a Glasgow-based company, headed the £7 million redesign.
Apple TV and Nespresso machines are among the many amenities available in each of the six types of guest rooms.
In addition, the Adeline Restaurant at The Memoir Club provides an Eastern-Mediterranean menu. Adeline Restaurant serves a range of cocktails inspired by Virginia Woolf’s birth name.
The Memoir Club has also redesigned its meeting rooms. Up to 300 people can be accommodated for cocktail receptions and 264 for conferences or corporate functions.
General manager George Konstas said: “We are immensely proud to unveil our new transformation — a celebration of both our storied past and dynamic future. The Memoir Club represents the spirit of artistic expression and innovation that has always characterized Bloomsbury. “Guests will experience not only world-class service but also immerse in a story of culture, community, and creativity.”
