What is the value of this product?
This is not a typical hotel experience. This is a destination that should be on everyone’s bucket list, at least if you aren’t the Kardashians and Zuckerbergs.
You decide if it is worth your money. Years ago, I saw pictures of the place and knew that I wanted to take pictures here one day. After working in the travel industry over 10 years, I was aspired to stay here.
In a conversation with friends, it was agreed that the value of tangible or service upgrades and services decreases significantly after a certain point. Then, you pay for greater privacy and exclusivity. It felt like I lived in a James Turrell installation.
The room rate includes everything except for alcohol, spa treatments and private excursions. This includes two meals per guest, snacks and refreshments in the room, guided group hikes and group fitness classes, Internet, water pavilion and fitness center, as well as self-guided hiking and custom itinerary planning.
Amangiri is a dream come true for me.
For Jacob? He said he would not pay it if he was the only one, but that it’s worth making me happy.
Would we return to this hotel?
Before considering a second visit, we have many other places that we would like to stay and see. That’s the case with most places.
