Luis Maroto stated that Amadeus’s partnership with Google Flights will improve the user experience, and strengthen the global reach of its airline technology business.
The collaboration — announced in May — integrates Google’s QPX flight offer management system and Google Flights with Amadeus’ airline platform, Nevio. Maroto stated that the partnership will help Amadeus to attract more airline customers during the company’s earnings call for the second quarter.
For airlines, it means more control over their commercial strategies.
