Accor, the largest hotel operator in Australia and New Zealand, is set to strengthen its footprint in Australia and New Zealand with the signing of a significant portfolio of hotels with Bayview International Hotels & Resorts.
From May 2025, Accor will take over three iconic properties. The Sydney Boulevard Hotel East Sydney has a lot to offer. Bayview Geographe Hotel Busselton Western Australia is a city that has a lot to offer. Wairakei Resort Taupo North Island New Zealand
This strategic expansion highlights Accor’s commitment in providing world-class experiences to guests across the Pacific.

Three properties will undergo extensive renovations before they are relaunched as Accor brands. This will enhance their appeal for both domestic and foreign travellers. The hotels will remain under their current names until that time.
“With a comprehensive renovation plan in place, I can’t believe we haven’t unveiled their refreshed identities yet and welcomed even more travellers to this remarkable location,” Adrian added.
The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is one if Sydney’s most iconic and storied hotels, featuring 277 guestrooms, including seven suites, 11 meeting spaces, a ballroom, a restaurant and café, and an exclusive top-floor meeting room with breathtaking views of the CBD and Sydney Harbour.
Bayview Geographe Resort, located in Busselton, is three hours south-southwest of Perth. This resort boasts 137 rooms and villas as well as an indoor heated pool, tennis courts, golf putting greens, and a direct beach access.
Wairakei Taupo is located in the geothermal wonderland, Wairakei. It’s just north of Lake Taupo. This resort features 187 rooms, a 9-hole golf, a geothermal pool, a spa day, multiple dining options, and extensive conference facilities.
