    For those of us who have grown up but are still young at heart, there’s nothing like letting your inner child run free for a weekend getaway—and booking a stay in a tree house is sometimes just the thing the heart calls for.

    Airbnb is also known as Nature’s NookIt is a modern tree house It is built around an oak tree. The house is nestled in the middle of GeorgiaThe picturesque wine country of near Dahlonega boasts a rich history as the first gold rush town in America.

    The building’s exterior is painted in a dark shade of teal, and the roof has been angled to direct rainwater towards the oak tree. The siding on the house was made from cypress, and it was treated with the shou-sugi-ban A Japanese technique of charring wood using a torch, which makes it resistant to fire and pests.

    Nature’s Nook offers enough room to accommodate four people thanks to stacked-up bunk beds. The mini-loft has a queen bed and a stunning view of the forest. The fully-equipped bathroom features a glass tiled rainfall shower as well as strategically placed window that allow natural light to enter without compromising privacy.

    The sitting area has a few comfortable chairs facing the large window, which perfectly frames the forest. A cozy kitchenette with custom-built cupboards and a place to make coffee and tea is located nearby.

    On the opposite side of the treehouse, you can access another outdoor balcony.

    Nature’s Nook was one of three secluded vacation rental homes on the seven-acre property. A lending library is available on site, and there’s a short walking trail. There are also plenty of things to do in the area. Visit the nearby town of Dahlonega to learn more about the area’s history.
