    The San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice has just opened The Longevity Spa on a private Island.

    The spa is specialized in anti-aging treatments and “biohacking”.

    The other luxurious amenities include a heated outdoor pool, Turkish baths, relaxation areas, and fitness equipment.

    Consider this example: San Clemente Palace Kempinski Venice. The resort is only a 10-minute ride by boat from Piazza S. Marco. It’s located on a private Island. The resort’s expansive gardens, views of a lagoon, an historic chapel and gourmet dining options ensure that guests will never have to leave this peaceful retreat.     This month the resort revealed its newest addition. The Longevity Spa. The idea, which was developed in partnership with The Longevity Suite, a European company that specializes on anti-aging and biohacking.

    “The launch of The Longevity Spa represents an exciting evolution for our private island—bringing together world-class wellness expertise with the natural beauty and serenity of Venice,” Emir Uyar, chairman of San Clemente Palace, said in a press release shared with Travel + Leisure. “It is another step in our commitment of creating transformational guest experiences, which are both luxurious and deeply regenerative.”

    You may have guessed that the spa offers more than just facials and massages. The spa offers an outdoor heated swimming pool, Turkish bath, sauna, relaxation area and fitness facilities. It also offers treatments, therapies and personalized wellness programmes, as well diagnostic services like DNA testing, hormone assessment and gut microbiota.

    It is interesting to note that the spa has incorporated elements and rituals from “Blue ZonesThe team has been experimenting with “around the world” aka the regions where people live the longest. To “enhance vitality, balance circadian rhythms, detoxify the body, and rejuvenate the spirit,” the team uses elements like Mediterranean salts, fermented rice water, antioxidant-rich wine, and volcanic mud in its treatments—things you’ll find in Loma Linda, California. Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica; Ikaria, Greece; Okinawa, JapanAnd the Italian island Sardinia.

    Guests are welcome to enjoy individual treatments—like the Sleep Better Experience, which includes 10 minutes of cryotherapy and an 80-minute massage—or book longer, more immersive retreats. Either way, they’ll get to enjoy herbal teas, nutrient-rich snacks, and smoothies from The Longevity Kitchen—and leave feeling significantly more rested and rejuvenated.
