    Kochi Marriott is delighted to announce the appointment of Sharon Raj as the new Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing, overseeing three of Marriott’s flagship properties in Kerala -Kochi Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Kochi Airport, and Port Muziris, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel.

    Sharon has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, working with brands such as Accor and IHG. She also worked at The Executive Centre. Most recently, she held the role of Cluster Director of Sales & Operations for ibis Chennai City Centre and ibis Chennai Sipcot under Accor Hotels, where she successfully led multi-property commercial strategy while also contributing to operational efficiency during a strategic taskforce assignment at ibis Navi Mumbai.

    Sharon is a graduate of S.C.S. Sharon Kothari holds a Bachelor of Management Science from the Kothari Academy, Chennai. She has a focus on Marketing and Human Resources.

    Sharon’s appointment is timely, as Kochi’s hospitality industry is poised to grow, particularly in the MICE sector. Sharon’s track record is that she has been able to turn insights into actions. This will allow her to create a new chapter in Marriott’s presence.
