Kerzner International, in recognition of Earth Day and its commitment to sustainable tourism, has joined the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance. The Alliance brings together over 100 organizations that are committed to promoting environmental and social responsibility within the hospitality industry.
Strengthening commitment towards sustainability
Hospitality Kerzner International, known for its luxury destinations under brands like Atlantis, One&Only, and SIRO, has expanded its sustainability efforts by joining the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance.
The company joins a global movement of over 66,000 hotel rooms and 8,000,000 hotels worldwide that are all striving to achieve a Net-positive Hospitality goal. This initiative ensures the hospitality sector gives more than it takes to society and the environment, increasing its overall impact.
It’s significant that on Earth Day, the Alliance welcomes Kerzner to our movement – a community of industry leaders pioneering a prosperous future where hospitality uplifts people, honours our planet, and enriches communities. Kerzner is a great partner to share knowledge and showcase best practices as we strive to make a difference in the hospitality industry. Kerzner’s role in advancing sustainability
Philippe Zuber emphasized Kerzner International’s responsibility to care for some of the most iconic locations in the world.
Kerzner is a company that understands the unique responsibility of being custodians to some of nature’s most beautiful locations. This means we are responsible for preserving these treasures to be enjoyed by future generations. Kerzner hopes to work with other members in the World Sustainable Hospitality Alliance to create and implement practical solutions for sustainability. The focus is on encouraging innovation, sharing of knowledge, and supporting long-term success for destinations and communities.
Towards net-positive hospitality
