Crowne Plaza carried out a YouGov study of more than 12,000 people in nine countries: the U.S.A. India. The survey shows that 67% of respondents believe blended travel offers more flexibility and benefits than it did five years ago.
This change in travel is especially evident in India. 33% of respondents, the highest number amongst all countries, have already experienced blended traveling. Indian travellers prefer flexible working hours (51%) to high salaries (46%), with 38% citing less stress.
Blended travel is a combination of business and leisure travel. It allows individuals to work remotely and extend their trips for exploration or relaxation. This white paper identifies the four main trends that are driving this change, including personal and professional development, mind-body balance, personal travel, and intentional togetherness.
