Ennismore announces today the addition six all-inclusive properties in North America. The resorts will have over 1600 rooms with 900 keys in two properties. Ennismore’s leadership in this high-growth and high-margin segment of luxury all-inclusive resorts is further strengthened by this strategic expansion.
Rixos debuts in Mexico
Rixos Hotels will rebrand three resorts located in Puerto Vallarta and Cancun after renovations. This marks the arrival of Mexico’s leader in luxury, all-inclusive hotels.
For over two decades, Rixos, founded by Fettah Tamince, has challenged the historical perception of all-inclusive by creating a luxury experience with exceptional culinary destinations and highly curated entertainment, with all aspects of a guest’s stay, from food and drink to activities and well-being, included in the booking price—a key differentiator from
Others in the market. Since 2017, Rixos (now part of Ennismore) has seen exponential growth. More than tripling their network and pipeline throughout Turkey, Middle East, Egypt and Asia.
The remaining properties at Cancun Acapulco and Ixtapa, will continue to be under the same brand. The six resorts represent an exciting opportunity to extend the group’s hold on the all inclusive market and open up new avenues for the midscale segment of key destinations.
Ennismore’s ALL Inclusive Set for Growth
Ennismore, building on the success of Rixos in 2023, launched the ALL Inclusive collection, a carefully curated selection from the world’s leading lifestyle brands including Rixos SLS SO/ and Hyde. The collection guarantees that each resort offers an unforgettable experience each time. This is expressed by each brand’s unique vision. All resorts are welcome to join the ALL Inclusive Collect.
Ennismore has rapidly strengthened its global position in the all-inclusive market, now boasting an impressive network and pipeline of over 60 resorts, including Rixos Tersane Istanbul, Rixos Qetaifan Island North in Doha, Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites, Hyde Bodrum, SO/ Sotogrande and SLS Playa Mujeres Cancun, which opened earlier this year.
Accelerating the Americas
Ennismore is focusing on its strategic growth in the Americas. This market is critical for the group and the addition of these six resorts to its network, which now totals over 70, reinforces this focus. The group has also opened an office in Cancun, Mexico to support the properties it owns in the region. These include Our Habitas Tulum and SLS Cancun.
Ennismore’s global growth plan is centered on the Americas, where there are more than 70 hotels. This includes the recently opened SLS Playa Mujeres Cancun hotel and the Delano Miami Beach that will be opening soon. The six new resorts are a major expansion of Ennismore’s presence in Mexico where the all-inclusive industry is growing rapidly. Rixos is a pioneering all-inclusive resort that offers a new way to break the mold by combining lifestyle brands, creative design and culinary experiences tailored to the destination with standout programming. We’re entering a fast-growing segment of the midscale all-inclusive market with these six resorts. This allows us to reach a wider demographic and expand our resort destinations using a lifestyle-driven approach. Phil Zrihen has been appointed as the new Head of Americas, Ennismore.
This deal is expected to be completed in the second quarter of the year after the regulatory approvals required for this type acquisition, such as antitrust approval.
