Zoe can only count on one finger the number of trips she’s taken with a carry-on bag. If it were up me, I would take everything on the plane. T+L reported that she admitted to being an overpacker. It’s just that I have been a stylist my entire adult life. All I think about is options, not having what you want or need. When I’m packing to go with friends or clients, my packing is very strategic. However, when I’m just packing for me, I don’t think about it at all.
Imagine the worst-case scenario for an overpacker: not having their luggage at your destination. Zoe had that exact problem in real-time during her first trip for this season’s Bravo series. She shipped her luggage strategically ahead of time to a trip in SedonaShe arrived at the airport in a black jacket with a black cowboy cap, black pants in 110 degree dry heat, wearing only a black suede coat, no other clothes. “That was not ideal. “I’m not sure what I thought there,” she replied. Her luggage arrived the next day, and she returned to her white, airy gown.

When you first arrive in your hotel room, what is the very first thing that you do?
I usually order room service after a hot, long shower. If I arrive at a regular time, I will have a friend over and we can order in together and just hang out.
Best jet lag hack?
I try to sleep as late as possible.
What is your favorite drink and snack to order on an aircraft?
Because I don’t love flying, I don’t eat much on airplanes. Most of the time, I am thinking about landing when I’m flying. I’m just a tiny bit nervous.
What’s your favourite hotel in the whole world?
In Paris, I love the Ritz and the Meurice. In London, I’d say Claridge’s.
Favorite business-class airline experience?
It depends. I love it. Delta One. JetBlue Mint suits me well. Mint is a great product. They’re very nice, very happy and very friendly. Anything with a flatbed makes me happy. Good British Airways and Air France flights [on] All of the new planes look great.
The best travel companion from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?
Kyle Richards—and I would say we share similar flight anxiety. It’s nice to know that someone doesn’t believe you are insane. Boz, on the other hand, is a bit of a nutcase. [Bozoma Saint John] Kathy [Hilton] They are extremely calming.
Zoe had a history of luggage mishaps. “I’ve lost luggage, and had it stolen. “I’ve been through countless travel disasters, but this was the most extreme. We were in the middle, in the middle, of nowhere and I thought, “Okay, cool. I guess I will be wearing black suede the next three day, even though it is 110 degrees.”
She’s had many items confiscated, including unopened facial products.
