La Divina, which opened in Buffalo 10 years ago as a Mexican food store with limited options has grown into Buffalo’s top taco destination. The reason? The reason? Order three or four tacos depending on your appetite. Our favorites are the cecina (air dried, salted beef), lengua (tongue), barbacoa (al pastor), and lengua. Tortas arrive on fresh telera bread grilled to perfection with avocado, mayo, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheese, crema, and jalapeños.

This warm and welcoming restaurant, led by owner and chef Kuni Sato has celebrated the art of Sushi for over 30 years. Start with the ebi -su which is a delicately sliced shrimp atop wakame and cucumbers with a vinegary sauce. Or try the whole grilled squid with a sweet and spicy sauce. For your entrée, you can’t go wrong with the chef’s choice sushi or sashimi combos, which are available in small and large sizes. The menu includes the usual salmon, red snapper, and tuna sashimi.
